Aspire is nice for sure but its not the only option and as already mentioned the nice thing is if you get rolling with VCarve and some other 3D option and later feel the need to upgrade Vectric is phenomenal in that capacity. stl.obj, and others in sketchup as well as bring 3D elements into sketchup for editing and then export them to VCarve. If you are already running sketchup(pro) you have the ability to generate. You have other options as well for 3D files.
